Acute Care

Moyne Health Services’ 12-bed Acute Ward provides our community with 24/7 medical and nursing care close to home. 

Patients receive treatment for episodes of illness and for conditions that are the result of disease, trauma or injury or during recovery from surgery. 

We are committed to providing a high quality service that meets the community’s expectations. 

Our friendly and professional registered and enrolled nurses are supported by doctors (known as VMOs – Visiting Medical Officers), allied health professionals (including dietitians, physiotherapists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists) and hotel and support services (kitchen, cleaning and maintenance staff).

This multidisciplinary team helps us to deliver our vision of providing Best Care – Every person, every time. 

We coordinate treatments with metropolitan hospitals and specialists during hospital stay and collaborate with external agencies to support transition from hospital to home.
