Welcome from our CEO - Jackie Kelly
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and we pay our respects to Elders, past and present. We acknowledge all Aboriginal people who reside in Moyne Shire and note our genuine wish to make it a priority to work with and alongside them to ensure our organisation is culturally competent and a place where everyone feels welcome and supported.
Passion, identity and purpose are key to a great organisation. Knowing who we are and why we exist shapes what we do and how we do it.
Moyne Health Services (MHS) is a health service incorporated under Schedule 1 of the Health Services Act 1988. As a small rural health service, Moyne Health Services is a multi-million dollar health service with an impressive history of meeting the health needs of the local and broader community.
Established in 1849, we are Victoria’s oldest hospital. Our health service has evolved over the last 170 years to become a responsive, community-based organisation employing more than 220 staff – one of our region’s largest employers. We have 160-plus dedicated volunteers who have donated more than 31,000 volunteer hours.
Our local economy benefits to the tune of approximately $16M per annum. We maintain our commitment to strategically positioning Moyne Health Services as a premium and sustainable small rural health service.

From providing support to clients through our District Nursing services, engagement with our Social Support Groups, providing Home Care Packages, to providing student health and wellbeing programs within the local school communities, you will find us engaging with our community.
