Director - South West Local Health Service Network

The Director, South West Local Health Service Network (SW LHSN), is a new role that is pivotal to the coordination of activities across the newly established SW LHSN as it moves towards and into formal commencement from 1 July 2025.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong, reliable and proactive leadership skills. Past experience and demonstrated project management skills, including program design, implementation, reporting and evaluation. An excellent understanding of the provision of health services across inpatient, emergency, primary, community, aged care and mental health environments.

• Full-time, fixed term position for a 3 year funded period
• Based in Warrnambool or the South West region, with regular travel throughout the SW LHSN

Graduate Nurse Program

Moyne Health Services – Port Fairy Graduate Nurse position

We provide a supportive environment to commence your nursing career and consolidate your skills.  We offer two graduate nurse positions at 0.8EFT. The program is 52 weeks duration, commencing in February 2026, with 5 weeks annual leave allocated.  This position rotates through our Acute Ward, Residential Aged Care (Nursing Home and Hostel) and has two specialty weeks in the District Nursing Service and Urgent Care.

We offer 5 study days per year which link in with South West Healthcare’s Graduate Nurse Program.

Scholarships

The Hilary Hamilton Education Scholarship is available to a Moyne Health Services team member annually for professional development and education up to the value of $5,000.

Full and part-time employees with at least six months’ employment at Moyne Health Services are eligible to apply.

The scholarship is granted in December and may be shared among several applicants.

Education

Moyne Health Services is committed to the education of all its employees. In addition to comprehensive on-boarding and annual mandatory training, Moyne Health Services promotes and supports personal and professional development. Both clinical and non-clinical educators are available to advise employees on training and career pathways.
