Moyne Health Services is a public health care service that meets the needs of people living in Port Fairy, Koroit and surrounding Moyne Shire communities.
Our vision for ‘Best Care – Every person, every time’ underpins all that we do.
Employing more than 220 dedicated and professional staff, every day we share the lives, aspirations, experience and wisdom of our community. We work together, supporting each and every member to ensure high quality care, tailored to individual needs. Services range from health education, literacy and promotion, social support, to delivering direct preventative, curative and supportive services. Our focus is on promoting and maintaining strength, wellbeing, independence and individuality with dignity, through offering services tailored to each person and their families.
Moyne Health Services has provided care for our community for more than 160 years. Our unique level of partnership with our community ensures we can continue a tradition of excellence to provide relevant, tailored services with a ‘no wrong door’ approach to delivery.
MHS’ is committed to the health, safety, wellbeing and empowerment of all children and young people and has zero tolerance for child abuse. We are committed to providing a child safe environment where the health of children and young people is promoted and where they are safe, feel safe, are encouraged to communicate their concerns, and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their health and lives. We are committed to protect children from abuse with established systems in place. We are committed to providing training and education materials and resources to support and maintain the currency of the knowledge of our workforce. We value the role of families and carers in the lives of children and young people and have processes in place to involve them in decision making and to support communications with them. Allegations of abuse and neglect and safety concerns will be treated seriously and consistently with our policies and procedures and legal obligations.
