Our Structure

Board of Directors

Our Board is responsible for governance oversight of the organisation and ensuring all services comply with the requirements of the Health Services Act 1988 and Moyne Health Services Strategic Plan whilst servicing the needs of our community.

A number of Board Committees are tasked with providing strategic guidance and assistance to the Board of Directors. Committee membership is determined by the Board and reviewed annually. Each of the committees is chaired by a Non-executive Director selected by the Board.

Audit, Risk & Finance Committee

This committee is responsible for monitoring the adequacy and risk management, accounting procedures, financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. The committee meets quarterly and is currently chaired by Director Mark Koch, with the support of Board Directors Sarah Gray, Jane Dow and Andrew Prosser.

Quality and Safety Committee

This committee is responsible for ensuring the organisation provides effective clinical governance. This committee meets quarterly and is chaired by Director Jane Dow and supported by Board Directors Trevor Carr and David Anderson.

Community Advisory Committee

This committee is responsible for informing the Board’s decision making on issues of strategic relevance to consumers. The committee may consider matters including, key capital projects impacting on levels of service, review of consumer information material (both written and verbal) and community consultation and engagement programs. The committee meets quarterly and is chaired by Director Jodie Cranham, supported by Directors Sarah Gray, David Anderson and Andrew Prosser.

Governance Committee

This committee’s responsible primary objectives are to assist the Board of Directors in corporate governance oversight of Moyne Health Services, the appointment, remuneration and performance management of the Chief Executive Officer, the appointment of Board Directors and Board performance, generally. The committee meets quarterly and is chaired by Director Michael Everett supported by Directors Jodie Cranham, Maria Safe and Molina Asthana.
