Four Year Accreditation Award for Moyne Health Services

David Lee (Chief Executive Officer), Belinda Westlake (Information, Quality and Risk Manager) and Fran Kinnersly (Director of Nursing)

Moyne Health Services (MHS) was recently recognised with 11 Excellent Achievement Awards from the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) at their April 2011 Accreditation Organisation Wide Survey.

CEO, David Lee was very pleased with the result commenting “it is one of the highest ratings available in the accreditation process that is awarded every four years”. The ACHS accreditation program is highly regarded and globally recognised external peer review in the health care industry.

The ACHS is a not-for-profit and independent body dedicated to improving the quality of health care in Australia through continual review of performance, assessment and accreditation.

The ACHS accreditation provides organisations with a proven, well established and internationally recognised continuous quality improvement program, structured around a four year cycle, an affordable improvement and review process and a tailored approach that meet local needs.
