Minister Davis Acknowledges ACHS Achievement

Mr David Davis MLC, Victorian State Minister for Health has presented Moyne Health Services with its Australian Council of Healthcare Standards Accreditation Certificate.

Moyne Health Services Board of Management members, Peter O’Keeffe and Geof Youl, together with Chief Executive Officer David Lee are presented with the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards (ACHS) Acreditation Certificate by Minister for Health David Davis MLC in Warrnambool.

The awarding of ACHS Accreditation for a further four years took place after surveyors conducted an accreditation survey of the entire service earlier in April this year.

MHS received 11 Extensive Achievement ratings from the Surveyors in areas including clinical – for its assessment and health record systems – its quality improvement systems, its risk management program and its incidents, complaints and feedback systems.
