Good news story – Harvesting the health benefits from gardening!

Our Belfast House residents have planted up some new raised planter boxes – which is a whole new level of gardening.

Residents have planted flowers, herbs, flowers and vegetables and are very excited to watch them grow. This has been a great activity which has enabled residents to come together with discussions on what they would like planted and what they will plant in each box.

Katrina (Kat) Collins (Residential Aged Care Manager – Belfast House) commended Trudy (BH Lifestyle Coordinator) and the team for doing a fantastic job in bringing this together for the pleasure of the residents. A little sunshine and laughter as residents harvest the wonderful health benefits from Mother Nature!

Well done to the BH Team!
