Koroit site – community update

We have so much to be proud of at MHS, not least of which the difference is we are making for the people within our community. Thanks to all our Koroit community for supporting us during the transition of our services situated at 127 Commercial Road, Koroit.

MHS’ Acting CEO, Katharina Redford said that over the Festive Season there has been a constant stream of works being undertaken to ensure building works are completed on time. It is unfortunate, however, that some refurbishment works have been delayed due to constraints associated with supplier materials. What this means is that, our centred based Social Support Groups will recommence at a later date. Our team will continue to support community based activities such as, community outings, café visits, walk and talk as well as assisted shopping events. We will keep you informed as the works progress and we move towards a recommencement of this group.

“We are actively pursuing essential suppliers as we’re very aware that the services we provide to the Koroit community are well supported. We want to reassure the community that we are committed to ensuring that the site opens up as soon as possible, allowing for services now and into the future”, she said.

Our highest priority right now is to ensure our Koroit community have these services available. Everyone is working extremely hard with our project team meeting weekly to ensure deadlines are met and return to services comes to fruition.

Enquiries can be directed to our main reception on phone (03) 5568 0100.
