Staff take delivery of the Toyota Camry Hybrid sedan.

Moyne Health Services has taken delivery of its first Hybrid motor vehicle.

In a first for the organisation, Moyne Health Services has taken delivery of its first Hybrid motor vehicle. The Toyota Camry sedan with its patented ‘Hybrid Synergy Drive’ has a dual source power system that is more efficient and has less impact on the environment than a regular sedan.

Hybrid Synergy Drive ensures that the car runs at its most efficient regardless of the road conditions or driving needs. While driving, the car can be powered by electricity, petrol, or a combination of both reducing the reliance on a petrol engine and turning it off complete when it’s not needed.

The running costs and environmental impact of the vehicle will be evaluated and compared with the conventional vehicles in the fleet. The purchase of the Hybrid vehicle reinforces our commitment to reducing the organisation’s environmental impact.
