Yambuk Auxiliary Donates $44,110 to purchase new x-ray machine

Moyne Health Services (MHS) is delighted to announce a gift of $44,110 to purchase a new ‘state of the art’ X-ray machine. The new X-ray machine was installed in February, 2014 and will enable MHS to continue to provide radiology services to Port Fairy and district communities.

Mr Leutton, MHS Board Chairman said that the work of the Yambuk Auxiliary was invaluable. “This is fantastic. To get such a generous donation certainly helps us maintain a high standard of care and helps our budget. We now have this wonderful new X-ray machine thanks to the work done by this wonderful group.”

The X ray machine can be easily relocated into the proposed Urgent Care Redevelopment.

The Yambuk Auxiliary has supported MHS for over 60 years. We are indeed very fortunate to have their support and we commend Ms Marion Wright (President) and the ladies for their tireless support for our health service.

Western District Radiology provide weekly X ray services on Tuesday and Thursday’s of each week. We acknowledge the continued support of Western District Radiology and in particular Marg McDonald and Eugene Kennedy.
