Moyne Health Services (MHS) completed its site redevelopment strategy in December, 2012. The strategy is a master plan for the redevelopment of the site over the next 10 to 15 years. The master plan is divided into three stages: community health, residential aged care and the hospital.

MHS is hoping to commence construction of the $4.5 million Community Health Centre in early 2014. MHS Board President Ralph Leutton and Chief Executive Officer David Lee have briefed both the Premier, Dr Dennis Napthine and the Minister of Health, Mr David Davis about the proposed redevelopment.

The Community Health Centre will significantly enhance the health services capacity to provide a comprehensive range of health care services to the Port Fairy community and surrounding areas. MHS will be conducting a Community Forum for local residents in September, 2013.
